Release of [InfiPower Guard] series AI surveillance camera CS42M25IA

InfiPower LLC (headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) released the 2-megapixel AI Starlight infrared PTZ surveillance camera CS42M25IA as a new product in the InfiPower Guard security system series on April 3, 2024. General sales are scheduled for May 2024.

Recently, thefts have become frequent at solar power plants and construction sites due to the influence of rising metal prices. Based on InfiPower's experience in managing solar power plants, the AI surveillance camera that InfiPower is releasing this time works in conjunction with the "InfiPower GUARD" remote security system, and is equipped with 25x optical zoom, 16x digital zoom, high-speed PTZ, and long-distance infrared LED lighting. With the support of the camera's built-in edge AI and surrounding sensors, it can perform wide-area surveillance day and night, as if you were on-site 24 hours a day.

AI Operations

This camera is more integrated and smaller than conventional products, while the optical zoom can be expanded up to 25x, it supports PoE, is surge resistant, and has an operating temperature range of -30°C to 65°C, making it suitable for various industrial sites. The biggest feature of this camera is the edge AI function, which has two AI modes, and which one you use will depend on the camera settings.
AI Face/People Capture Mode:

It is assumed that the "InfiPower GUARD" will be used in the security system. When a related sensor in the vicinity is activated, the camera will instantly aim at the sensor (pre-set azimuth angle and zoom factor), record the situation around the sensor, analyze the video data in real time with edge AI, and if a human body or face is detected, capture the screen and send it to the user, and at the same time activate the on-site alarm system to drive away suspicious people.

AI Smart Surveillance Mode:

When set to this mode, you can draw a line on the monitoring screen to determine the monitoring area, and within that area you can monitor for abnormalities such as illegal parking, boundary intrusion, lost items, left behind items, wanderers, and runners. You can also count the number of people (functions may vary depending on the release date). If an abnormality is detected, the alarm equipment will be activated in real time via the "InfiPower GUARD" server and the user will be notified.

Utilizing AI functions reduces the false alarm rate of sensors, improving the reliability of the entire security system and reducing operating costs.
